Workflow Engine for the enterprise

Self-hosted inside your perimeter. SLA-backed support from the engineers who own the codebase. SSO against your directory. A vendor that responds to security questionnaires and gives you a real POC instead of a demo. Licensing terms and prices are public on the pricing page.

Support plans backed by the engineering team

Support is a separate annual plan on any paid edition. Tickets go to the engineering team that owns the codebase, with a committed response time per plan. Trial and POC support is free until the trial key expires.

Trial and POC support is free for 30 days after your first request and runs until the trial key expires. The sales team can extend it by agreement. Paid plans are annual and sit on top of any edition.

Bugs never use up your tickets

Reporting a bug or a security issue does not count against the ticket allowance of your support plan. We fix defects and security issues in the engine at our own expense, whether or not you have a support plan: it is our product, not your budget. Your tickets stay for the questions only a support plan answers, such as integration help, architecture advice, and demonstration examples.

What a plan commits to in writing, and what it excludes, is set out in the Customer Support Agreement.

Book a meeting

Need a call instead of a ticket? Pick a meeting type and a time below, and you get a calendar invite with the meeting link. A paid consulting session runs over Google Meet with up to 10 invitees, $200 for one hour or $250 for two.

Self-hosted, your perimeter, your keys

Workflow Engine runs inside your application. Process data never leaves your database. SSO inherits from your directory. There is no vendor cloud touching customer data, which is why regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government suppliers) deploy it in airgapped environments.

Self-hosted by default

Workflow Engine runs inside your .NET application and writes to your database. Process data, scheme definitions, and audit trail never leave your perimeter. There is no Optimajet-hosted cloud service for the engine itself.

Your directory stays the source of identity

The shipped Active Directory connector speaks LDAP, with Novell and Windows DirectoryServices implementations. Sign-in stays your application’s job: the engine authenticates nobody, and one interface, IWorkflowRuleProvider, hands every permission check to the directory or identity system you already run.

Audit trail of every transition

Every state transition, command execution, and scheme edit is recorded with timestamp, actor, and parameter payload, persisted in your application database and queryable from your existing observability stack.

Encryption is your stack

Process data is persisted to your database with whatever encryption-at-rest policy you operate. TLS in transit between engine and database. The engine itself ships no embedded keys or vendor-controlled secrets.

No telemetry phone-home

The engine does not transmit usage data, scheme contents, or process data to Optimajet. Update checks are explicit and opt-in. Airgapped deployments are supported and used in regulated environments.

Vendor security questionnaires

We respond to standard vendor security assessments (CAIQ, SIG, custom questionnaires) during enterprise procurement. Sample responses available on request under NDA.

Built for the way enterprise buys

Enterprise procurement varies: CapEx or OpEx, multi-year commitments, audit-friendly contracts, supplier onboarding. We work with your process rather than forcing ours, and the paperwork goes through a named contact at Optimajet instead of a ticket queue. Licensing models and prices are on the pricing page.

  • Both spend models available, so finance can match the accounting treatment
  • Multi-year discounts and volume licensing for enterprise
  • Standard payment terms (NET 30, PO/invoicing, ACH/wire)
  • Vendor onboarding paperwork, W-9/W-8BEN, and supplier registration handled by the sales team
  • Named contract owner at Optimajet from first call through renewal

POC-grade evaluation runs up to 90 days

Enterprise evaluations take time: security review, architecture sign-off, cross-team buy-in. We give you 30 to 90 days with a full unrestricted license key, direct access to a sales engineer, and an integration review before go-live. That is the evaluation enterprise teams actually need, not a feature-locked demo.

  • 30 to 90 day evaluation with a full unrestricted license key
  • POC support, with direct access to a sales engineer during evaluation
  • Integration review with engineering before go-live
  • Architecture consulting sessions with engineering over Google Meet
  • Migration guidance from Microsoft WF, Camunda, or in-house engines

Customers ship Workflow Engine inside BPM platforms, EHS systems, regulatory management suites, and SaaS products. Three case studies you can read in detail:

ProcessMAP utilizes Workflow Engine as an integral part of the Environmental Health & Safety and Risk Management SaaS solution. We’ve researched the tools available on the market and opted for Workflow Engine as it offers exactly what we need without extra functionality like form designers and interface builders.

Your perimeter, your data

Self-hosted inside your application and your database. No vendor cloud touches process data.

Procurement-ready paperwork

Standard payment terms: NET 30, PO and invoicing, wire.

Engineers, not a helpdesk

Tickets go to the team that owns the codebase, with a committed response time per plan.

POC support included

A sales engineer during evaluation, plus an integration review with engineering before go-live.

Procurement questions, multi-year licensing, POC support: contact sales or book a demo.

Try it on a workflow you already run

Build it in the designer, connect the commands to your C# code, and run it on your own database. The integration guide takes about an hour to follow. The free tier works without a license key or a call with sales, and the same code runs in the paid editions if you decide to upgrade.
